RPP seeks a dynamic, engaging and experienced senior living executive with a keen sense of vision, strategic planning and positioning skills, as well as a commitment to quality care and resident service, to become the next President.
The new President of Roland Park Place will provide leadership and direction to this outstanding senior retirement living organization. This new leader will preserve and enhance Roland Park Place’s mission, vision, culture, and values, as well as to ensure that Roland Park Place remains focused on a strong service orientation and providing high quality care, affording residents an opportunity to enjoy a high quality of life.
Located in the Roland Park neighborhood of Baltimore City, Roland Park Place is the only full-service, CARF accredited not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Baltimore City. Roland Park Place is home to more than 200 residents in independent living apartments, cottages, residential care (assisted living) apartments, and skilled nursing. Consistently receiving a CMS 5-star rating for RPP’s Health Care Center, Roland Park Place has a profound commitment to its residents and their families, promoting independence at the highest functional level throughout the continuum of residency. Residents of Roland Park Place include some of Baltimore City’s most established former leaders, from musicians and urban developers to journalists and community activists.
Roland Park Place has 164 Independent Living units, 15 Assisted Living units, 26 Memory Care Assisted Living suites and 44 Skilled Nursing rooms. The community is completing phase one of a campus expansion plan, which will be completed by the end of 2019 and includes renovation of the existing common space, a complete redesign of the heath care center, a striking new entrance hall, and a café. Phase two, which will begin in early 2020, will add 58 spacious new residences in an eight-story addition as well as a new dining venue, arts center, and indoor parking. Other amenities to be added include an updated garden, a spa and salon, and a club room for private parties. Once completed, Roland Park Place will be the new standard for Metropolitan Senior Living in Baltimore City.
The ideal candidate for the RPP’s President will be a sophisticated and knowledgeable senior care leader. An undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or a related field is required, with a graduate degree preferred. A minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality or business is required and experience working within a CCRC is highly preferred.
