Description: Given that the cyber threat and overall risk to the Healthcare and Public Health Sector (HPH) is high, this webinar will feature subject matter experts in cybersecurity who will give a brief overview of the cyber threat environment and highlight elements that apply to the HPH cyber environment.  They will discuss risk of information technology components, infrastructure and systems, and highlight vulnerabilities many current HPH cybersecurity strategies contain.  Lastly, they will provide information on resources available to HPH cybersecurity programs, to help reduce exposure and minimize risk.

Learning objectives:

  1.  Aid HPH personnel in understanding the cyber threat environment, and provide context through real world examples.
  2.  Educate non-technicians on the elements of risk assessments and how they apply in a healthcare setting.
  3.  Provide information on tools and resources available to the HPH community to help reduce the likelihood of a successful attack and mitigate the effects.
