Clinical Compliance Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and Campus Compliance, the Clinical Compliance Manager is responsible for designing, planning and executing compliance audits to satisfy the requirements of the clinical compliance program for the Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living. Audits may consist of validation audits on claims, accurate coding of medical services rendered, provision of services specific to contractual requirements, etc. Internal audits may be conducted to determine if documentation is supportive of the care delivered and comply with policies and procedures of our Hospice program and are based on federal and state government and regulatory standards.

The Clinical Compliance Manager will provide ongoing monitoring of results and/or corrective action plans related to audit results which include risk management activities of the Compliance Committee. The Clinical Compliance Manager will work in conjunction with the Senior Management Team on the development of the Campus Compliance work plan, staff education, risk area identification, analysis and reporting of the audit findings.

The Clinical Compliance Manager will monitor procedures to effectively perform duties independently that support the Campus Compliance Program (including HIPAA Privacy activities). The Clinical Compliance Manager must demonstrate extensive knowledge of Hospice and Palliative Care Medicare, Medicaid, and third party regulations, etc. The Compliance Manager will assist in investigations of various compliance-related issues throughout Hospice and Palliative Care, along with other compliance-related activities as directed.


·       A Graduate Degree in Healthcare is preferred.

·       Three years hospice experience required (LMSW, RN, LPN, NP, MD, etc.)

·       Proven ability to manage and motivate people to achieve organizational excellence

·       Excellent verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

·       Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and make recommendations to Senior Management

·       Ability to project and meet deadlines
