Director of Marketing and Community Relations


The Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living is looking for an energetic, creative and results-oriented Sales and Marketing professional for the role of Director of Marketing and Community Relations.


On the beautiful Wilf Campus is located in Somerset, NJ, you’ll find senior living and elderly care with all the comforts of home… a warm, inviting environment where a Jewish lifestyle is embraced and there’s always good company and good food to share.  Here, seniors live life to the fullest with the support of our professional caregivers.   We offer a range of senior programs and services in central New Jersey, such as Independent LivingAssisted LivingHospice and Transport.   We are proud of our reputation within the community for providing quality care.


The Director of Marketing and Community Relations will be a key strategic partner within our Senior Management Team; maintaining full accountability for all occupancy goals through a combination of outreach, networking events and the cultivation of relationships with prospects, families and professionals. As such, the Director of Marketing and Community Relations plays a critical role in the growth and development the Wilf Campus. 


·        8 to 10 years of relevant sales and marketing experience

·        Successful track record in identifying and building local relationships to drive business goals

  • Work with all Wilf Campus agencies to support the sales effort through coaching and training in the community
  • Research and maintain current information on local competition and new services and competitors entering the marketplace

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate small to large group presentations

·        Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, as well as the ability to learn new applications; previous knowledge of a client relationship management tool for tracking leads preferred

·        Front-runner in numerous social media platforms

·        Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, as well as a deeply ingrained passion for seniors to successfully nurture relationships

·        Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills

·        Bachelor Degree from a four-year college or university is desired, Master’s Degree is preferred (We may consider a combination of education and experience)

·        Passion for the elderly and have a desire to create long term value and drive business success


This leadership position will market and sell our exceptional community to outside referral sources, potential residents and other local resources.  This position is a critical part of our team as you will be the public face of our community. 

Establish strategic marketing plans to guide marketing efforts to achieve Wilf Campus census objectives

  • Manage marketing operating budget
  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand presence throughout the community with promotional materials and special events
  • Develop, maintain and leverage relationships with all referral sources and conduct ongoing field visits
  • Educate medical community regarding Assisted Living, Hospice and Dementia Care services to gain referrals
  • Monitor the market and competitive conditions with the ability to adjust efforts based on that research
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community strategic partners
  • Interview and track prospective residents to ascertain needs and qualifications for residing in an assisted living community
